I am looking forward to my next presentation on Sunday April 17. I will be speaking at the New York Mental Health Counselors Association conference in Albany, NY. The topic of my presentation will be “Long lasting psychological impact of bullying”. This of course will be based on my first book titled “A Life Interrupted – the story of my battle with bullying and obsessive compulsive disorder”.
I am excited about this presentation since this will be my first speech in the state of New York. My understanding is that this will be a well-attended conference. I am looking forward to interesting questions and discussions.
I always have a lot of questions and discussions whenever I speak at a mental health counselors conference. We always get into numerous interesting discussions about how the impact of bullying manifested itself within the disease and how the external bully turned into an internal bully in the form of the Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. They also typically find it very interesting to analyze and discuss the remarkable revelations I had from my encounter with a past bully and how it sheds a lot of light on the mental health aspect of bullies.
