In addition to delivering the keynote speech on Sunday morning, I will get a chance to participate in a couple of discussion sessions with the children and with the parents on Saturday. I am sure this will be an eventful weekend.
Here is an excerpt from their announcement:
Sunday Keynote
Sumi Mukherjee will join participants for Saturday’s activities and will have the opportunity to meet with the youth and parents at some of the sessions.
On Sunday morning, Sumi will be the keynote speaker and will share his story of strength, hope, and purpose. Sumi writes that he has “two decades worth of painfully acquired expertise in dealing with bullying, anxiety, depression and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder.” His book “A Life Interrupted – The Story of My Battle with Bullying and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder” was first published in July 2011. Sumi has since published another book in 2014 titled “Father Figure” which focuses on the prevention of child sexual abuse. Since October 2011, Sumi has taken his message to hundreds of people around the country so others can benefit from his story of hope and resilency.
